Adobe Target's biggest recent move is its own MCP server, in public beta and hosted by Adobe at https://targetmcp.adobe.io/mcp. AI assistants can inspect, analyze and manage A/B tests and personalization activities in natural language.
It exposes 41 tools across 10 categories: activity inspection and audit; performance, revenue and A4T reporting for A/B, XT, AP and Auto-Target activities; creating and updating A/B and Experience Targeting activities; traffic-split and variant management; activity state control; audience and HTML/JSON offer management; and implementation audit of at.js settings and response tokens.
Access is OAuth 2.0 through Adobe Experience Cloud, with no static credentials. Tool availability follows the Target role: Observer for read, Editor for write, Approver for activation. Adobe attaches an explicit 'as is' risk disclaimer to MCP integrations and recommends sandbox testing first.
Target's own AI activity types, Automated Personalization and Auto-Target, are still first-class and reportable through the MCP.
