Personalization tool
Algonomy
Retail personalization suite (search, recs, dynamic listing pages, content/styling, social proof, shopping agent) built on the earlier RichRelevance/Manthan merger. Now operating under the ADA brand after ADA acquired Algonomy in July 2026.
The vendor’s claim
Algonomy (formerly RichRelevance and Manthan) is now part of ADA; searches intuitively lead to products specific to the shopper's preferences.Source
Where it’s strong
- Search, recs, dynamic product listing pages, and content/styling ("ensembles") in one commerce layer, not just a recs pod
- Used by 400+ brands, giving it real production scale versus a point solution
Where it runs out
- The vendor no longer exists as a standalone brand: since the July 2026 ADA acquisition, the product operates under ADA. A real continuity/roadmap risk for anyone evaluating 'Algonomy' today
- The old 'landing page to cart' framing is no longer on the live page; the current site organizes the suite around named modules (Find, Recommend, Discover, Ensemble AI, Shopping Agent) instead
Best for
Retailers evaluating a full-funnel merchandising layer, with the caveat that the vendor relationship is now with ADA, not a standalone Algonomy.
Questions before you buy more of it
- Where is the recs and ranking holdout?
- What changes for existing Algonomy contracts now that ADA owns the product: same team, same roadmap?
