Category & Listing Page Optimisation
The problem, in the customer's voice
What this recipe does
Shoppers reach the category and listing pages but leave without clicking into a product, and it is unclear whether the range, the filters or the product cards are to blame. Analytics sizes the problem first, showing which categories leak the most and how listing visits relate to product views. Heatmaps and session recordings then reveal how people actually work the page: what they filter and sort, how far they scroll, and which product cards earn attention. An on-site poll asks browsers what is stopping them narrowing down. Usability sessions validate a revised listing experience against real find-and-choose tasks, so changes to filters, sorting and card content follow the way shoppers genuinely shop the range.
